Tour Highlights
Shore casting is a uniquely Okinawan fishing style: heavy tackle is cast far out to the reef edge, the rod is set on the beach, and you wait for a monster to bite. The targets are GT (giant trevally) and emperor fish (Taman), known as the "dump truck of the rocks" for pulling three times harder than a sea bream of the same size. Landing a 10 kg+ fish from shore is a luxury only Ishigaki can offer.
The beauty of this fishing is the wait. Once the bell is on the rod tip, you sit on the beach enjoying BBQ. The sound of waves, the starry sky, the scent of the bonfire. The time spent chatting is an experience in itself. Then, the instant the bell rings, adrenaline erupts. This rhythm of calm and explosion is what makes shore casting addictive.

Tour Itinerary
- Meet & Spot Selection (30 min) - Hamachan selects the best point based on conditions. Drive there and set up base camp on the beach.
- Rig Setup & Casting (30 min) - Learn shore casting from scratch — casting technique, baiting, rod setup, and bell attachment. Beginners welcome.
- BBQ & Wait (120-180 min) - Once the rods are set, enjoy a BBQ on the beach while waiting for a bite. A luxurious evening under the stars.
- Fight & Landing - When the bell rings, the battle begins. Hamachan coaches you through the fight with a trophy fish. The sense of achievement is indescribable.
- Photos & Farewell - Snap commemorative photos with your catch. Photo data sent later. We handle the clean-up.
